An Open Letter To Boston Casting The Worse Casting Company In These Great United States
Boston Casting is the worse casting company in the United States, they are hypocrites, and they lie.
I have decided to write an open letter I posted on Facebook to them, after finding out that there were casting notices I fit the criteria of but never received, I have been in their database since 2011 and have only gotten 3 jobs from them although they have upwards of 6-9 projects a year
They use the same people repeatedly, people who spend money in their "acting clinic". How convenient? I would actually spend money with them, if they gave me the opportunity to make money, I actually consider them bullies, because of them I actual thought there was something wrong with me, they made me feel like I wasn't good enough (and isn't that what bullies do)

I will not let you dictate my career, if you don't want to use me in any of your projects, your loss, I am a hard worker; I take direction well, and I don't break the rules, because of you I thought there was something wrong with me, that I wasn't good enough for this business, but after getting calls from casting agencies in New York and Pittsburgh offering me work I have realized I am not the problem you are, I am sorry I haven't spent money on your classes or went through your headshot clinic, and no I will not join agency pro why should I contribute any of my money to your company when you give me no opportunity to make money.
I just hope the production companies that use them actually notice the same faces repeatedly, because it can definitely deteriorate the continuity of the film, and it makes it a lot more boring.
Avoid them at all costs. I have even tried to go about this through the owner Angela Peri, and she never took me seriously, or she just doesn't care that her casting agents play favorites. I would love to see this casting agency go out of business, since there are better ones who don't play favorites and care about the quality of the product in Massachusetts, Like Sande Alessi and CP Casting.
